We no longer offer a debit card linked to your Credit Union account.
You can use the Members’ Area to request a withdrawal to another bank account or call us on 03336 000690 if you need to add another account to your Credit Union account.
If you have an active Engage Account, it’s important to consider a few things before you are automatically switched over to a Suits Me account:
- How much it will cost you for your day-to-day banking needs
- Which type of bank account you need
- How you want to deal with your bank
- What type of bank account do you qualify to open.
If you are looking for an alternative to the Engage account now it is switching to Suits Me, you will need to close your Engage Account by the 12th of January 2025. If you do not want to switch over, please contact the Engage Customer Care team by email at info@engageaccount.com.
If you do not close your Engage Account by then, they will automatically move you over, and assume you have accepted their new terms and conditions, and the new prices. We understand the balance on your Engage card will be automatically transferred to your new Suits Me card.
Information on other options
Basic Bank Account: A basic bank account can be useful if you’re in financial difficulty or if you’re struggling to access mainstream banking products. You can use the account in largely the same way as a regular current account – having wages paid in and setting up direct debits for bills, for example – it could help you with budgeting.

Current Account: A current account is used for everyday banking. You can set up standing orders and Direct Debits, and have wages or benefits paid in. You’ll also get a debit card, which allows you to make payments and withdraw cash from a cash machine. They do run credit checks, regardless of whether or not you request an overdraft. Most banks use this information to confirm you are who you say you are.
